Delete Your Account

BE-JUMIN ("비주민"), operated by Dohui Lee (이도희), lets you delete your account and associated data at any time. This page explains how, and exactly what happens to your data when you do.

1. Delete in the app (immediate)

1. Open the BE-JUMIN app and sign in.
2. Go to your Profile (Me tab).
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Deletion takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.

2. If you can no longer access the app

Email hello@becomeajumin.com from the email address linked to your account, with the subject "Account deletion request". We will verify the request and complete the deletion within 30 days.

3. What is deleted, and what is kept

When your account is deleted, we immediately:

• Remove personal identifiers: email, phone, nickname, profile image, bio, birth year, nationality, and location history.
• Delete your sign-in account, so you can no longer log in.
• Revoke the token issued through Sign in with Apple, where applicable.
• Sever the link between your account and any anonymous browsing records, so those records become genuinely anonymous.

The following may be retained:

• Aggregated, anonymized statistics that can no longer identify you (such as neighborhood-level activity), to operate and improve the Service.
• Content you posted may remain visible, shown as authored by a "deleted user."
• Diagnostic and crash data already sent to Sentry is retained for up to 90 days and then deleted.
